Mark who is Mike's son, grew up in the family business working summers and boat shows as a teenager. Mark graduated from college in 1995 with a 3 year diploma in Marine Management and immediately joined the family business full time. Laurie (Mark's wife) has been a full time school teacher in Parry Sound for 9 years now and is getting ready to persue a career change to the administrative side. Laurie is a graduate of  both Brock and Nippising Universities. We are thrilled to announce that Laurie McRobert has joined our award winning team in the capacity of Office Manager. Laurie's extensive accounting and diverse business background will be a huge asset to Payne Marine with her experience in business planning, forecasting and as a Financial Analyst. Laurie is from Parry Sound, and after spending many years away enhancing her education and career, Laurie and her husband have relocated back to the area to raise their family. Bev has been with Payne Marine for six years now and she is the lady who is responsible for how clean and great your boat looks. Bev works so hard in the wet snow in late April and November, the hot sun of July and in the rains of the spring and she never complains or skips a beat. Next time you are admiring how spotless your boat is, you can thank Bev for all of her efforts.

Sean is back for his third year with us in our service department. A graduate of the marine technician program at Georgian College in Midland, Sean has learned alot over the past couple of years, and is maturing into a great young tech. Sean is continuing his apprenticeship with us to become a licensed marine tech and we hope he will be with us for many years to come. You can rest assure when Sean is working on your boat, his number one priority is your complet satisfaction and safety.

We are thrilled to annouce that Doug has decided to join the service team at Payne Marine. Fully certified, Doug brings 20 plus years of experience and knowledge to our dealership and specializes in electrical and diagnostics. Welcome Doug, we are glad your with us!!

Mark has joined our staff in September 2009 and has already become a great part of our team. Mark's extensive background in construction, plumbing and electrical are of great value to the upkeeping of our business. Mark has  re-shingled our retail outlet store this past fall amongst many other jobs. Easy to get along with, and a true team player, we hope Mark will be with us for years to come. We are pleased to announce that Charlie will be returning in a greater coapacity to the marina for 2010. This season Charlie will be working in our customer unloading area and assisting on the fuel dock along with doing general maintenance duties as well. In short, he is our whatever doing person, and we have a great one in Charlie. From helping customers with baggage, driving boats, picking up parts etc. We are thrilled he will return to the Payne Marine team in 2010!

A retired OPP, John is still on the road but without the siren! You can be assured that your boat is in good hands, and always handled with care when we have her behind one of our trucks.
